BCA Financial Services Inc. is looking for a full-time Performance Analyst. The Performance Analyst uses analytical tools to extract, transform and load data to generate reports, dashboards, alerts and scorecards for the organization. The Analyst retrieves data from repositories and, using software and applications to detect patterns and trends, manipulates the data utilized by various departments to make business decisions.
Utilizing IT capacity, performance, planning and forecast experience, analyze resource usage to identify existing or potential constraints, as well as resolve related performance problems in collaboration with internal teams.
Analyze metrics, trends, patterns and resource allocation to meet organizational needs.
Utilizes innovation, knowledge and expertise to recommend and design solutions to complex business problems.
Assists with the development and testing of performance measurement tools.
Measures themes weekly to identify trends and negotiating prioritization of recommendations to appropriate teams to address issues or opportunities identified in research.
Leverage tracking and measurement to drive business goals.
Present insights to appropriate teams, drive implementation dates and track performance improvement post implementation.
Maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of different research methodologies and data analysis techniques as well as channel and industry best practices.
Leverage partnerships with other team members to provide holistic view of customer experience and plan of action to address issues and opportunities identified through research.
Develop and analyze scheduled and ad hoc reports.
Research and analyze areas of interest to the company which will allow the company to gain a competitive advantage.
Participate in meetings related to intelligence reporting.
Develop an understanding of each served department's role within the company; maintain an advanced knowledge of their needs in order to remain competitive.
Incorporate the company’s values into all practices and all departmentally directed activities
A minimum of 2 years full-time Analyst experience
A minimum of 2 years full-time experience with baselining, benchmarking and projecting performance
A minimum of 2 years full-time experience in forecasting performance, conducting trend analysis and making recommendations
A certification in business intelligence/business analytics is preferred.
A certification in an SQL-based platform is preferred.
Experience with utilizing Microsoft Excel (advanced), Access (intermediate), Word (advanced) and Outlook (advanced) and database systems such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, etc.
